Post by monira444 »

Barcelona will host a new edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) from 25 to 28 February . This annual event has become an unmissable event for technology companies and the mobile industry worldwide. On this occasion, the central theme of the congress, which is expected to be attended by more than 107,000 visitors, will be ' intelligent connectivity '.

The Mobile World Congress is set to be the great showcase for the latest developments in mobile technologies. Companies such as Huawei, Sony, Nokia and Samsung will present their latest smartphone models, but there will also be interesting conferences and presentations by speakers such as the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella; the founder and CEO of Niantic, creator of Pokémon Go, John Hanke; the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Amina Mohammed; and the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, among others.

Intelligent connectivity will be the central theme of this new edition of the MWC, which, according to the GSMA association, organizer of the congress, defines the combination of flexible high-speed student data 5G networks, the improvement of the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and Big Data. The way in which these technologies are changing and will change the world we live in even more is what will be discussed during the event.

In the words of GSMA Chief Marketing Officer Michael O'Hara, “Supported by 5G and artificial intelligence, intelligent connectivity is a major technological force that will shape how the world communicates in the future .”

Aware that “we are rapidly moving towards a world where mobile devices will connect everyone and everything,” as O'Hara points out, one of the new features of MWC 2019 will be the 'Digital Planet: Connected Experience' experience, in which 200 apps and solution providers will participate, based on creating connected experiences that will impact the daily lives of citizens.

Digital transformation

In the not-too-distant future, mobile devices will intelligently connect everyone and everything with the aim of making our lives easier, which will impact different sectors.

One of them, as it could not be otherwise, is banking. At the Caja Rural group we are committed to this digital revolution and thanks to the efforts made we already offer our clients financial services through non-face-to-face channels, such as mobile devices.

Who could have imagined a few years ago that you could make transfers with your mobile phone? With the ruralvía mobile app , it is now possible, but not only that. All you have to do is download the app to feel like you have your trusted office in your pocket. Checking the latest transactions, managing cards, income, expenses and being able to do it 365/24, wherever you are, is without a doubt a great little revolution.

Thanks to the new connections and the change they have brought about in the way we carry out everyday actions such as, for example, paying, we can now also pay with our Smartphone. With the ruralvía pay application, Caja Rural group customers can pay for their purchases with any phone with NFC technology. But, in addition, they can send or receive money instantly with Bizum .
