Talking about leaders no longer has the same verticalist imprint that previously associated leaders with a hierarchical position. Today, leaders are those agents of change who seek to share their experiences, knowledge and opportunities with others. Leaders in education are not only those who teach in a disruptive way: leaders are also those who can inspire their students, who manage to enthuse them.
The educational challenges of the next generations involve being more creative: we must make a place for ourselves with new, different, infinitely more complex tools in a world where data management, analysis and the problem-solving capacity that we have today are the future of large companies.
The main objective of the Qlik Academic Program – easy to adopt – is to help higher education institutions in Argentina strengthen their academic offerings (from various branches and areas) by adding morocco phone number lead knowledge in Analytics and providing various data analysis skills to their study plans. What does this recognition mean to you?
It means that when we work as a team, we can achieve results that exceed our expectations. That was the opportunity for me to participate in the first cohort of the “Qlik Academic Program Professor Ambassador 2021”. Although I applied, I speak of teamwork because the Technological Linkage Unit of the University of Congreso gives me the freedom to innovate. I like being in contact with the younger generations (we have a research team made up of students and foreign professors invited from different countries) and because the Data IQ team guided me to access the “Qlik Academic Program” in which 1,600 academics from 85 universities around the world participate.
What should you keep in mind to stimulate and inspire this generation of students?
We must take into account that we have moved from the paradigm of “accumulation of knowledge” to “application of knowledge”, and in this phenomenon data plays a very important role. If in this process we have an academic program with access to software, the experience becomes tangible for students and teachers.
Chiavenato, a well-known author, defined motivation as “ the result of the interaction between the person and the situation that surrounds him ”. Students are motivated by the idea of knowing that what they study will be applicable in their working life.
What do you think are Qlik’s strengths for the “jobs” of the future?
Today, students ask themselves: What will this be useful for in the future? And how can I learn to apply it? And that is where the key lies for them to connect with reality, with experience, so that they learn by doing and do it as a team where the evaluative aspect is transferred to the field of “critical thinking development” (criterion) and creativity. And Qlik is a good ally for that since they can learn to use it in research, they prepare for working with data and because as future graduates, it is a plus to have these skills certified at their own pace to enter the labor market.
What would you highlight about the Qlik Academic Program?
What I like most about the program is how easy it is to access data analysis software, the online learning platform is very educational, the possibility of taking exams and certifications in “data literacy and analytics” and a guide to incorporating Qlik in classes. Personally, as a researcher, I am surprised by the Qlik Sense associative engine and all the valuable information that can be obtained.
