The focus of the session with Darius Erdt was on employee development as a key success factor and how trainees can become top performers. It's true: Many agencies are vying for experienced staff. The market has a shortage of qualified specialists, so agencies have no choice but to train. And the team wants to see further development. So, in 75 minutes, we talked about trainee programs, development plans, and much more.

A key aspect was the development of a competency profile for each employee and the importance of clustering techniques to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to develop them further in a targeted manner.

Furthermore, the question of whether the next logical career step after a senior position always has to be taking on a management position was discussed. Isn't it just as important to have highly qualified specialists who don't have personnel responsibility? The individual personality of each employee must be taken into account when ensuring optimal career development.

The second part focused on developing young employees. Alexander Geißenberger, who also had his own session, presented his 12-month trainee program, which offers clear structures and intensive support. In this program, team leaders no longer devote themselves to operational tasks. The focus is on developing young talent and supporting the trainees in their professional development.

SPEAKER TRAINING WITH BANE

Unlike last year, there was no lecture session with Bane Katic . This year, up to six people could register for one-hour sessions. Bane has two absolute strengths for this type of training. First, he can quickly gain a clear understanding of each individual's challenges and shortcomings. Second, he can quickly build a relationship of trust with a group he doesn't know, and uk phone number data who don't know each other.

One after another, we all presented/spoke and collected on a flipchart what concerns us, for example, in a meeting, on stage or in a pitch.

For us these were:

Where should I put my hands?
How do I make small talk?
How can I get to the point better?
The emphasis while speaking
Use body language to give what you say even more impact
Where do I look?
Distraction when videos and photos are taken of me
Being thrown off track by the unexpected
Speaking too quickly
Speaking too unclearly

A varied list. Bane had individual exercises ready, depending on the challenge and the individual, and after an hour, we all felt improvements. And most importantly, we felt more confident in ourselves.

Conclusion: In the end, an hour is an hour. An hour for yourself. Time for reflection, and now it's time again: practice, practice, practice.
