For some time now, I have been fascinated by the hacktivist group Anonymous. I am even writing a report about it called We Are Legion . What once started as a group of hackers doing digital mischief on 4Chan has now become a worldwide movement, pulling people away from their computers and into action on the streets.
One of the very first times that Anonymous was seen on the streets was during the protest at the Church of Scientology. Several thousand people protested against this 'church', many wearing an Anonymous mask. Then they went digital again. Sony, Mastercard, Visa, Paypal were among those who had to pay the price. All went offline in their fight against Anonymous.
Today, September 17th, Wall Street is supposed to be occupied. It is greece phone number list an anti-bank day. A resistance against the banks that have ruined the economy.

I'm curious. Do so many people really come to Wall Street? If so, how does politics react? And does it proceed peacefully? It is striking that people on Twitter are complaining that the hashtag #Occupywallstreet is being censored. People also think that the traditional media is paying little to no attention to it. Is there a media blackout or not?
