The total area of the inlet openings is determined based on 200 mm2 per meter of length.
The ventilation gap under the roof covering must be at least 50 mm high.
The area of the outlet openings (under the ridge or in the aerators) should be 10-15% larger than the area of the inlet openings.
The total area of attic ventilation openings should be approximately 0.02–0.03% of the attic floor area.
