Its development is based on four strategic axes.
The start-up incubation (Le Mas start-up), which aims to be " a business and success accelerator for local entrepreneurs and companies ", as the group 's CEO Jean-Marc Pastorino declared .
The incubation of emerging media (MAS media) to “invent the journalists of tomorrow” .
The MAS event to organize conferences on innovation.
The MAS training to train local companies in digital 1000 mobile database transformation and communication. The training is provided by Nice-Matin professionals and external speakers.
Double incubation, reciprocal contributions
For the first year of the MAS, Nice-Matin welcomed six start-ups to its premises. Dibster , Bee shary , Deserve Mi , Time N' Joy , Ready Park and Yöma Family . These start-ups do not develop technological innovations, but all offer services in use. For Damien Allemand, even if they do not have a direct link with a media activity, "the start-ups are perfectly consistent with the editorial line of our subscriber offer" with "the reader at the center of the subscriber offer or on solutions journalism that provides concrete answers to people's problems". For example, Dibster offers people who have had flights canceled or delayed to manage the administrative procedures to obtain compensation.
