Again, these can be reordered to create other URLs that do the exact same thing but have to be crawled separately. Again, they might be ordered differently. There might be pagination and so on. So you can have one category page generating a ton of URLs.
Other things that will often come up are search results pages from internal site searches, especially if they are paginated and generate many different URLs.
List Page
Listing pages. If you allow users to upload their own listings or content, then over time it could potentially add up to a large number of URLs if you make a job board or something like eBay.

As a baseline, if we think about how a normal URL behaves on Googlebot, a link can be crawled, indexed, passed through a PageRank calculation, and, like, a URL like this, also links to somewhere on my site, and then Google follows that link and indexes those pages, which may still have top navigation and site-wide navigation. The process of actually passing links to those pages is a bit circular. There's a bit of a loss in page authority when we're linking so many different pages and so many different filters. But ultimately we're recycling it, and it's a black hole of authority loss.
