In the second half of 2017, I managed to send out my personal newsletter almost continuously twice a month. I would like to maintain this frequency in 2018. This email contains tips and expert knowledge from communications, news from my office, link tips and event information as well as the latest articles from the PR Doctor.

Professional orientation: still only A-customers
Many companies have the concept of A, B and C customers, i.e. a staggered evaluation (and also staggered preferential treatment) of customers according to their importance to the company, for example based on sales. This may seem sensible for many business models. I have never had that and I will never start again. I feel lucky and a great privilege that now only enquiries come from new customers who fit with me and my way of working and with whom I can create value together and do really good work. My A customers are therefore all really ideal customers.
If you only have A-list customers, you have to plan accordingly "flexibly" when it comes to your own workload. Because in every project, even with the best planning on both sides, there are unforeseen linkedin data events, spontaneous questions and a need for short-term advice. Especially in communication, you can't always predict what will happen outside. This means that the odd fire brigade call is required. That's why I can't manage without support in the office anymore. That's the only way to reach someone when I'm on stage at a conference.
expand lectures
I really enjoy giving advice. I also really enjoy working on concepts in my own office. But one activity that has taken up an increasing proportion of my work in recent years and that I also enjoy is giving talks and keynotes at major conferences and company events. A whole series of dates have already been confirmed; only a small number of them are public.
There are currently (as of early January 2018) a small number of tickets available for two events that I will be speaking at in the first half of the year: Contentixx at the end of February in Berlin and the Podcast Heroes Conference in May in Düsseldorf. Both are also conferences organized by good friends of mine, which is why I am happy to point them out.
