Broadband, the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and the Cloud are technological tools that we hear more and more about lately and their joint application has revolutionized the analysis and decision-making sector at all levels. In other words, they offer solutions not only for companies and businesses but also for people in their daily lives. However, in order to better understand their impact, it is necessary to first define some concepts.


What is Big Data?

As we can see, all the technologies mentioned above are closely related to information management. Their connection arose almost naturally due to the digital revolution we are experiencing and due to which connecting to the Internet has become such a basic need that even the UN has named it a human right.

Therefore, as the number and applications of devices capable of connecting to the Internet increased, the collection of data on their environment and the behavior of their users became simpler, causing the amount of digital information to grow exponentially, requiring a medium capable of distributing it around the world.
