Google's AdSense advertising network could be under threat from a ban in Germany. Clothing chain C&A has fined a German news portal for placing Google AdSense ads from its competitors next to an article about it.
In the warning letter sent by C&A to the Die-Topnews portal , C&A describes the advertisement as "unfair and unacceptable" and as a violation of the ban on advertising in editorial content.
