Different actors have seized on the subject. First, the anti-vaxxers whose persistent rhetoric aims to reach the WHO, governments, and the big players in the pharmaceutical industry commonly called Big Pharma. Their communication strategy aims to create distrust in scientific expertise, fuel conspiracy theories and deny the benefits of vaccines. They constantly repeat that the vaccine is deadly, that it is dangerous for pregnancy and breastfeeding, that vaccine tests are unreliable, and that Covid-19/monkey pox is a hoax.
