SVoD users are millennials; 2/3 of viewers are seniors

January 16th was the evening of the month (9pm-11pm) that had the fewest SVoD users. 1.44 million according to the barometer. This nevertheless places SVOD (all platforms combined) in 5th place in the channel ranking , if we allow ourselves this comparison. On January 7th, the evening when SVOD performed best, it came in 4th position with 2.22 million users, the same number of people who watched France 2.

Young French people are adopting these new platforms more quickly. more than 12% of 15-24 year-olds are consumers compared to 10.5% of 25-34 year-olds, 5.3% of 35-49 year-olds and 1.6% of 50 year-olds and over. But the 25-49 year-olds are progressing rapidly (220,000 more on average in one year).
