I think that, like me, you believe that it is never too late to start or even to change something in your life. Even more so in these times in which we live, where changes and innovations are presented to us almost daily.
With this in mind, I remembered a topic that has long been debated from various angles in the business world. I'm talking about DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION.
It's practically impossible, nowadays, that this important item hasn't yet provoked, in you or your company, that itch of desire disguised as a state of alert, capable of transforming our biggest doubts into strategies to anticipate everything that is yet to come.
Some call it the new normal, others call it reinvention, but these viber data terms do not diminish the importance that digital transformation has brought and will bring to our lives and especially to companies.
For a long time, we were taught that life was like a very detailed drawing of what was going to happen to each of us; with a beginning, middle and end.
However, in the current scenario, managers like you and me directly feel the impact of the changes caused by the pandemic in Brazil and around the world.
Therefore, the moment asks each of us to reflect on the following before acting:
Should we keep our management processes as they are operating now? Is it feasible to return to the old model before the start of the restrictions on coexistence? Or would it be strategic to immediately implement a new management model into our company culture?
The point is to take advantage of the moment to understand the most assertive path to follow.
In this context, I believe it would be appropriate to clarify the different aspects of a term that has gained great prominence during this time of pandemic, and that you may not have explored in depth yet. I am talking about Hybrid Methodologies.
But, after all, what would that be?
Hybrid Methodology, in short, is the combination of methods and tools that bring together the positive aspects of traditional management and agile practices in order to obtain the best results. And it can be applied to different segments, management models and projects.
For us, I believe there are three models of greatest importance: hybrid organizations, hybrid operations and the hybrid IT structure.
Let's go!!
Hybrid Organizations
The hybrid organization combines elements, value systems and action logics (e.g. social impact and profit generation) from various sectors of society. In other words, it is a new approach to dealing with the digital transformation of companies, determining the best ways to encourage growth and stabilize the development of companies in their respective markets.
