It is better to remove everything that is not relevant to the job from your resume or not to bring it to the forefront. Focus on the tasks that you will have to deal with in your new job.
Rule 2. Achievements
A huge number of applicants simply describe their responsibilities in their resumes: managed, analyzed, implemented, developed, etc., etc. And since the responsibilities for the same position in different companies can be similar, we have hundreds and thousands of almost identical resumes.
Write about your achievements. Not “Managed social media pages,” but “ Increased the number of groups from 1,000 to 10,000 people in 5 months .” Not “Engaged in email marketing,” but “ canada rcs data Increased the percentage of newsletter openings from 5% to 15%, and the number of conversions from 3% to 8% . ” Some even advise sticking to a 50/50 ratio: use 50% of the space in your resume for responsibilities, and leave 50% for results.
