The general advice on money from any manager is to learn how to handle money wisely. The philosophy of all rich and successful people is that they know how to properly work with the blocks that prevent ordinary people from becoming richer.

"You shouldn't be afraid of big expenses, you should be afraid of small incomes"

John Rockefeller

One of the richest people self employed database on the planet, John Rockefeller, used his first salary to buy an accounting book where he wrote down all his expenses. And this is the second main principle in relation to finances – to learn to count your money: “Until you know all your expenses, you will not be able to earn income. Record all your expenses to know where you can save and where most of your money goes.”

Habit #6 – Invest in Your Education!
Progress does not stand still. What brought in income and clients yesterday can stop working today in an instant. And as the global isolation has shown (although in light of recent events it has faded into the background), whoever is on top is on top.

Investing in education is one of the key habits of success. You can always buy a yacht, but you need to learn how to sell more online or get the skill of conducting effective negotiations from experienced professionals in order to earn even more later – you need to do it here and now. Remember habit #4 and never miss your opportunities.

Let's just give a few quotes from the most famous entrepreneurs and managers on this matter:

Boris Aleksandrov , Russian entrepreneur and founder of Rostagroexport:

"If you want to be successful in business, study how businessmen achieved success. If you want to be a winner, read books by people with experience of great victories . You can develop anywhere, it all depends on the desire of the person. For example, in Butyrka I read a huge number of books and made a huge step in self-development."

Boris Alexandrov

Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States:

“No matter how smart you are, no matter how well educated you are, no matter how much experience you have, you cannot be so wise that you can make a successful business on your own. Watch, listen, and learn. You cannot know everything. Anyone who thinks so is doomed to mediocrity.”

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft Corporation:

"My personal financial advice for people who make up to $100,000 a year is to invest in your education."

Habit #7 – Work!
Hard work and healthy persistence are the two main principles of Evgeny Chichvarkin, co-founder of Russia's largest network of mobile phone stores, Euroset.

"You swim to the shore. You row, you row, you get tired, you rest, you swim again. The current carries you away, but you swim anyway. Now you see that people on the shore are waving their hands at you. Your strength is running out, but you swim. And now you come to the shore. And what is there to celebrate? There is a mountain on the shore. And you are going to the mountain!"

Arnold Schwarzenegger is known around the world today as a famous bodybuilder, Hollywood actor and former governor of California. But if it weren't for his hard work, he would have remained an unknown emigrant from the Austrian hinterland.

"For me, work has always meant joy and discovery. If I heard someone complain, 'Oh, I work so much, ten or twelve hours a day,' I would immediately pounce on that person, 'What the hell are you talking about, there are twenty-four hours in a day! What else have you been doing?'

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Inventor and co-founder of PayPal, SpaceX and Tesla, engineer Elon Musk also did not achieve success right away. When asked about his success in numerous interviews, he answered this way:

"Just work like hell. If other people work 40 hours a week and you work 100 hours, then even doing the same thing, you will be able to achieve the result two and a half times faster . What others will need a year to do, you will be able to do in four months. And if you are lazy, just do not waste time on starting your business."

Habit #8 – Take Responsibility!
As Oleg Tinkov likes to say : “It’s funny, but the hackneyed expression “everything is in your hands” actually works.”

Oleg Tinkov

One of the richest people in Russia according to Forbes, Alexander Mamut, holds the same point of view :

"Everyone needs to think about themselves, how they will save themselves during the crisis. And if everyone is saved individually, then everyone will be saved together. Everyone should try to solve their problems themselves. They need to take the initiative ."

This principle allowed him to found the international media company SUP Media and become one of the most successful Russian entrepreneurs and financiers.
