The type of behavior of such an employee comes down to the following: he is so zealous in creating ideal conditions for his manager's work that he begins to simply interfere. He persistently reminds about lunch several times, asks a bunch of questions (thinking that this helps), etc.
It's like such excessive care, like in that fairy tale, when the hare tried to help the moose sleep better, but he himself only interfered, scaring away flies, putting a stone under his head (for greater convenience), etc. As a result, the giant had to flee. The same thing with the super-devotee subordinate.
When a management order needs to be conveyed to the team, such an employee, having understood the message himself, begins to give explanations to the others. And, moreover, he does not always convey the meaning correctly. It seems he tries, but it only gets worse. Excessive zeal is not always useful, and can even be harmful. This does not help the boss, but on the contrary, hinders him.
The moment of control also causes excessive enthusiasm in the over-adherent. This is how a student behaves who has mastered the topic perfectly, but still insistently calls for his work to be assessed.

The super-adherent perceives sanctions ambiguously. He is happy with rewards. But such individuals, due to some of their exaltation, may not react to punishments quite adequately. Someone will cry from gratitude, someone will become an enemy for life, and another will jump off a bridge.
