We were also quite curious to learn about these tools from a user's point of view. Digging further on Reddit, here's what we found:

One Redditor specifically recommends Glean for its ease of setup and extensive API library.

I work a lot with Glean, it's very easy to setup and has a rich set of APIs that allow you to build internal tools if you want.

Another user highlights Glean for its ability to function as an impressive search platform.

Glean's search results are top-notch, but the user interface could be improved.

Many Reddit users were pleased with Microsoft Copilot’s performance in various fields. For canada whatsapp number data example, a couple of Reddit users praised Copilot for its use in the fields of medicine and computing.

I'm in the medical field and I think it's great

It's good to try to iterate through my entire 7,000 line code file to include changes after it answers every minor question I ask it.

While there are plenty of great user reviews on Reddit for both Glean and Copilot, both tools have their fair share of critics as well.

The biggest criticism of Glean on Reddit is its use of processed data to train its AI models, as stated in a comment on a Reddit thread about Glean's note-taking software.

I'm not a lawyer, but I've read Glean's privacy policy. It seems to say that Glean will not share or sell raw data with any outside companies. So, for example, they're not going to post all of your classes on Chegg. But I don't see anything that says they won't use your data themselves, or that they won't sell some kind of aggregated or non-raw data (i.e. the processed data that an AI uses to model).

Users also complain that Copilot is buggy, making it difficult to use.

I used to rely on Copilot Pro to help me rewrite my posts for X (Twitter). Lately, it responds to my requests instead of rewriting the content, which is frustrating and feels like a bug.

Digging deeper into the Reddit thread about Glean and Microsoft Copilot, it became clear that while Glean’s data policies were its biggest red flag, users rarely questioned its usefulness. As for Microsoft Copilot, users were dissatisfied with its performance, usefulness, and overall importance for automation.

Thus, the feedback from users of both platforms clearly shows that Glean is a great alternative solution to Microsoft Copilot .
