Research from Inside Facebook shows that it’s smarter to show your ads to your mexico phone number list current fan base rather than your entire Facebook population. According to the research, this can reduce the cost of acquiring registrations by 44%, event signups by 33%, and purchases by 15%. If the cost of acquiring a larger fan base is less than the difference between advertising on Facebook to your entire population and just your current fans, then you’re a lot smarter!
The advice that comes from this research is: use virals, campaigns, giveaways etc. to create a larger fan base and make sure they see your ads. A side note to this research is that ads are currently almost exclusively displayed on the profile pages (wall) of users, but next to their news feed. The question is which of these 2 'views' Facebook users use the most. Source: Inside Facebook .
