Do you really need a cohesive community?

Every writer wants to know how their readers will respond after hours of sitting in front of the screen writing and perfecting their content.
But the writer’s emotions and the company’s goals don’t always align. Unlike the writer, the company has more practical goals. So the question is, how do you create an engaged community?
