Competitions at a standstill. Sports journalism disoriented?

The phenomenon of e-sport – the English term for video game competitions on a local network ( LAN party ) or via the Internet , on consoles or computers – has grown further. Many sports competitions have taken place online during the lockdown.
With the resumption of in-person sports competitions, the question of the link between sport and e-sport arises. What conclusions can we draw a few months after the end of lockdown?
