Ranking is essential for the success of content: Companies that put their content online in the form of websites and blog articles want to ensure that these pages are displayed as high as possible in Google's search results pages (SERP, Search Engine Result Page). This is because the content that is found in the first ten search results still receives the most attention and the most traffic.
Google uses algorithms to determine the order of these gcash database search results. Over 200 factors are taken into account in this lightning-fast decision. In addition to good, relevant content , this also includes the links that lead to this page ( backlinks and internal links). But the user experience and of course the search intent of the users themselves are also important ranking factors.
As far as page experience is concerned, the search engine giant has so far used, among other things, responsive design (mobile friendliness and mobile speed) as well as the criterion of the loading speed of the pages posted online. The following factors will be added in 2021.
Aspects that have not yet been captured by search engines include delays, pop-ups or content that "jumps around" on the page. All annoyances that test the patience of users. Google is trying to measure these points, because they make up a large part of a user's positive or negative reaction to a website.
So Google is expanding the Page Experience criteria and calling this addition Core Web Vitals . According to Sowmya Subramanian , Director of Engineering for Search Ecosystem, the company then tracks the three most important web annoyances:
Loading – Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) : This analyzes how quickly the content of the main page loads.
Interactivity – First Input Delay (FID) : This feature measures how quickly the page responds when the user clicks on something for the first time.
