Contextual Linking Opportunities for Online Stores

Post by Rina7RS »

Contextual internal links work differently in an online store, where there are few or no pages dedicated to informing. You don’t explore a specific topic on a product page: you’re selling products. Therefore, on a product page you most want to keep people on the page and convince them to buy the product. Therefore, contextual links are far less prominent in this regard. You generally shouldn’t add contextual links in product descriptions, as it can cause people to click away from the page.

Here are just a few meaningful ways to add contextual links to your product pages:

Link to individual products from the product bundle japan mobile database page
"Related Projects" or "Compare to Similar Projects" section
A "Customers also bought" section
"Product Bundles" or "Frequently Bought Together" sections.
Landing Page
Landing pages are the pages you want your audience to find when they search for the specific keywords you're optimizing for. For example, we want people who search for "free SEO training" to end up on a page about free training we call "SEO for Beginners." You need to approach the content of your all-important landing pages differently than you would your other regular pages.
