There is no doubt that

"Well-intentioned, but..." is probably the first thing that springs to mind. local journalism is becoming increasingly important, especially in times of centralization in the print media. Everyone is interested in what is happening on their own doorstep. Unfortunately, mine is not in Emmen, but in Appenzell Innerrhoden. Now I could of course greece rcs data log into nau.ch via my Facebook account and inform the world that the 10th Ebenalp Trophy has been cancelled and that there is a change in the youth commission in Gonten. The only question is whether I have the right audience. If this example catches on and everyone wants to outdo Emmen, we will soon be able to scroll through zoning plan changes in Pratteln and the zebra crossing course in the Schwamendingen kindergarten.
"Nau" doesn't seem to care whether you can still talk about relevance and target group appropriateness. The operators can say with a clear conscience that they report from the various Swiss regions. Not systematically, not editorially checked, but they do it. That won't really help anyone. If Emmen now experiences an upswing as a location for private individuals and companies, I will of course take everything back.
