Consider buyer personas

Post by Reddi1 »

Another important aspect of creating your website concept is to orientate yourself towards your buyer personas and their buyer's journey . For example, you should orient the structure and placement of the content on your website towards your personas and their user behavior.

Imagine you are setting up a digital payroll service. While the managing director of a company is most interested in how your service can efficiently contribute to cost reduction and process optimization, his employees are more interested in what options your service can offer them for salary optimization.
So it makes sense to place content on the topic of "cost optimization" above the fold on the homepage for the managing director.

For the employee, on the other hand, the content would have to be structured differently than for the manager, as these people have different areas of interest.

When planning your website, you should therefore know your buyer personas and be aware of the relevance of each persona. You can then use this to strategically structure and content your website.

3. Develop page architecture and rough visual concept
The page architecture of your website forms your rough belgium phone number data structural concept. You create this in the form of a sitemap . With such a sitemap you create a hierarchically structured overall representation of your website. What does that mean? You define subcategories and content pages that you need to present your company and its range of services from your homepage.

Let's assume you are founding a sustainable company that sells organic products and runs a blog. If you create a sitemap for this, you have to plan subpages for your products, your sustainability blog and the About page, among other things.

You should also include the imprint, the general terms and conditions and a privacy policy in your sitemap. It is important to note that the privacy policy must be accessible with just one click from every subpage of a website and must be clearly marked (one-click rule). Also make sure that your subpages are named appropriately, as this will affect your URLs and the description of the directories that your CMS creates.
