Create a project using what you have at hand – advanced 3D tools like MODO, Blender, Maya or simple online tools like Vectary . If you use Windows 10, you can also simply use Paint 3D.

Export the finished project to a *.glb file. This is a binary version of the Windows gITF2.0 format. Remember: the file cannot be larger than 3 MB.

Step 2: Add file to Facebook

Now open Facebook and start creating a new post. To add a 3D object, drag and drop the design file into the post editing window.

Voilà – you just created a 3D post!

Don't worry if you don't see an option to add this type of post anywhere. Currently, usa rcs data you can't create them by selecting 3D from the post menu like you can for images or videos. The only option that works is the "drag & drop" option I described above. I'm sure this will change over time.

What's next? VR on Facebook?
This next digital step by Zuckerberg is the fulfillment of the promise of a greater VR presence on Facebook. It is certainly also another element that – according to the creators of the portal – is supposed to bring users closer together.
