It is interesting to recognize the different leads for commercial real estate uses that digital technology, social networks and applications have in relation to consumption, the acquisition of products and services, the so-called "store of the future."
RichRelevance conducted a survey of 1,000 users in the United States, with the aim of obtaining a measure of how “cool” or interesting this technological and social advancement is, as well as how unpleasant it is. The results are necessary to consider and know what pleases consumers and what does not.
For 76%, it is useful and pleasant that through these networks and applications they can explore the description and comments about a product before purchasing it. They also welcome the fact that through this technology they can learn about discounts on products from different stores.

Everything considered unpleasant has more to do with issues of personalization that are linked to the intrusion into people's private lives. For example, 44% of respondents do not like the existence of personalized quotes based on the buyer. Also, 74% of respondents find it unpleasant that the employee greets the user by name when entering the store using facial recognition. In general, users do not want to share their location or their browsing history, on average only 20% agree.
