Nu.nl headlined on Sunday that search engines Google and Bing have confirmed the suspicion that a tweet that is often retweeted can have a positive influence on the ranking of a page that is linked in the tweet. Social media causes arguments during holidays
Research by World Ticket Center shows that 42% of Dutch people visit a social networking site at least once during their vacation. More than half (58%) check Facebook, Hyves and Twitter during their entire vacation. The majority of the families and couples surveyed find visiting and using social media during their vacation a nuisance, especially because of the high frequency that their loved one or children are involved. For 21% of this group, using social media during their vacation has even been a reason for an argument.
